These terms govern your use of rootguardsecurity.com. They are not the terms on which we carry out work. Engagements are governed by a separate engagement letter and statement of work, and where those conflict with anything here, they take precedence.

None of it is security advice, legal advice, or a recommendation for your particular circumstances, and you should not act on it without an engagement or other professional advice. Security depends on specifics, and we do not know yours until we have looked.
We publish readiness assessments and other tools at no charge. They are self-scoring and self-reported: they record what you believe about your controls, not what is true. They do not establish that a control is operating, and they are not a substitute for an assessment carried out against evidence. You use them at your own discretion and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of a self-assessment.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Fees, scope, timing and terms are confirmed in a signed statement of work. Any report we issue is prepared for the named client and for the purpose stated in it, and the reliance terms in that report apply.
The content, design, methodology and materials on this site belong to RootGuard Security Limited unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share pages for your own business purposes. You may not republish, resell or present our material as your own.
Documentation supplied as part of an engagement is licensed to you as set out in that engagement, and is yours to keep and adapt within your organization.
We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or free of error. We may change or remove content without notice.
